Here are some ways to remove a tight ring from your finger:
1. Lubricant method: Rub a gentle lubricant such as hand lotion, petroleum jelly, soap, or baby oil on your finger around the ring. Once your finger is well lubricated, try to slide the ring off.
2. Elevation method: Place ice around the ring and finger and elevate the hand overhead for 5-10 minutes. This will reduce the swelling and make it easier to remove the ring.
3. Cold water method: Submerge the finger with the ring in a cup of ice water and hold it above your head for 10 minutes .
4. Dental floss method: Cut a piece of dental floss about a foot long. With your palm facing up, thread one end of floss under the ring. There should be a small piece left sticking out from under the ring. Wrap the other end of floss around your finger tightly and start unwinding it from under the ring.
5. Windex method: Spray some Windex on your finger and try to slide off the ring.
6. Twisting method: Place your index finger gently on the stuck ring, and thumb under. Start twisting the ring gently back and forth while slowly pulling it.
I hope this helps!
