To make freeze-dried fruits, you can:
1. Use a freezer bag and dry ice. Cut the fruit into slices or chunks, seal it in a freezer bag, and cover it with dry ice in a large cooler box. Leave it for twenty-four hours.
2. Use a baking sheet and a freezer. Wash and dry the fruit, place it on a baking sheet, and freeze it for up to four weeks. Store it in an airtight container at or below room temperature.
3. Use a freeze-dryer. Before putting fruit in a freeze-dryer, wash and prepare it first. It is better to cut it into slices or chunks and remove thick skin or peel. Then, lay it out in a single layer on the trays and load it into the freeze-dryer.
