Here is a simple recipe for making wheatgrass shots:
1. Wash the wheatgrass thoroughly under running water. Use fresh and green grass that is young and tender. Discard the yellow leaves.
2. Cut the wheatgrass as low as possible to the root just before you're ready to juice it.
3. Rinse the wheatgrass (especially if it's not homegrown) and discard any leaves that have turned completely yellow.
4. Using a juicer, juice the wheatgrass.
5. Add a squeeze of lemon and 1/2 cup (or less if you prefer) water.
6. Put all the ingredients in a glass jar and shake vigorously until well mixed.
7. Pour into a shot glass and enjoy!
You can also add apple juice or fresh coconut juice with Bioactive Colostrum into a blender with wheatgrass to extract its flavors and properties from the plant. Enjoy in small shot quantities only!
