To remove a pedestal sink, you need to follow these steps:
1. Turn off the water supply to the sink. You may need to turn off the main valve for the whole house.
2. Remove the caulk under the sink bowl and near the bottom stand at the floor.
3. Remove the water supply lines and the drain pipe (P-trap) from the sink.
4. Carefully lift up the sink and slide the pedestal out. You may need another person to help you with this step.
5. Remove the P-trap from the drain pipe.
