To stop an email from sending, you can use the "Undo Send" feature in Gmail. This feature allows you to delay sending your message for up to a maximum of 30 seconds. During that time, you can cancel or "undo" the send. Once those seconds have passed, the message is really sent.
If you are using Microsoft Outlook, you can set up Outlook to automatically delete emails as soon as they arrive from specific senders.
