There are different ways to add photos to iCloud depending on the source and device of the photos. Here are some ways you can add photos to iCloud:
- Use iCloud's website and select Photos from the rows of icons, then click the upload icon and choose the photos and videos to import.
- Enable iCloud Drive on the iPhone and tap "Add to iCloud Drive" from the Photos app.
- Use the Import and Consolidate options in Photos on a Mac to import and upload external photos to iCloud.
- Right-click on a photo in Finder and share it to Photos on a Mac.
- Use Photo Stream on the iPhone, which will sync photos to iCloud when connected to a wifi network. Photo Stream only backs up photos from the last 30 days.
