Here are the steps to make a camera:
1. Choose a cylindrical or rectangular can or carton. Choose a clean container about the size of a normal camera.
2. Paint the inner and outer walls of the container black. You can also cover the entire container with aluminum foil.
3. Determine the size of the hole that you will use as your lens. Cut out a square hole in the center of one end of the container.
4. Cut a piece of aluminum foil that is slightly larger than the hole you just cut out. Place it over the hole and tape it down on all sides.
5. Cut a small square of wax paper and tape it over the aluminum foil on the inside of the container.
6. Cut a small piece of black construction paper and tape it over the wax paper on the inside of the container.
7. Cut a piece of photographic paper to fit inside your camera.
8. Tape the photographic paper to the inside of the opposite end of your camera.
9. Load your camera with film by opening up one end and sliding in your film.
10. Close up your camera by taping or gluing it shut.
