Here are the steps to use your GoPro Hero 5:
1. Open the housing so the backdoor hangs downward.
2. Insert a microSD card. (Class 10 or UHS-1 required, sold separately.)
3. Charge the battery using the included USB cable. (Battery cannot be removed from camera.)
4. Close and latch the backdoor.
5. Press the Mode button to power on your HERO5 Black.
6. Press the Shutter/Select button [ ] to start recording video or capturing photos.
